Add primary domain to a subdomain account

Hi all, From WHM i have setup a cPanel account with primary domain as "test.domain.com" as this is a development server in beta testing and the primary "domain.com" is running on another IP/server adn it's already in production... Now it's time to switch all the site to this new server and i need to add the primary domain "domain.com" as well as the "www.domain.com" to the "test.domain.com" account. is this something that can cause problems and how i have to manage this? thank you in advance for any help.

  Hello, You could modify the domain name directly using "WHM >> Modify An Account" instead of adding it as an addon domain name. Thank you.

  Hello, You would change it do "domain.com". Using "www" as part of the domain name isn't required because the "www" alias is automatically configured. Thank you.
