Apache failing after EasyApache update
UPCP ran last night and after it could not start apache:
The service "httpd" appears to be down.
So I manually ran it and upgrade to v70.0.26 from .23. That did not fix it. I then ran easyapache, using the existing profile. Apache is now up, but php is displayed as raw code and not processed and displayed as normal. Anyone know what is going on ?

Before last year, we had "Operating System Package Updates" set to update automatically. After last update issue from cpanel, we disabled all auto updates to prevent such thing happening. I discovered this issue last night at 8PM PST because I received an alert from one of our server saying httpd was down. I fixed the problem after run upcp update and fix the php handler. I knew that cpanel released EA4 update yesterday but didn't expect some thing will be updated automatically, I first checked this forum but didn't see any posts related. Then I tried to replicate this issue on other similar servers but they had no problems. I thought this problem could be unique on that server. Today, I found that the server had problem was on version 68.0 (build 29), but other servers are on 68.0 (build 33). I guess the build 33 had the latest version of apr-uti which does not need update. I would be a disaster for me if all other servers been affected, I would have to spend a whole night to fix the issue. I am thinking to change the cPanel upcp cron job to run once a week instead of daily to prevent all servers to down at same day. 0 -
update to EasyApache4 wherein after the update was installed Apache service is not working or failing to restart properly. following commands didn't solve the issue yum clean all yum -y update /usr/local/cpanel/bin/rebuild_phpconf --current /usr/local/cpanel/bin/rebuild_phpconf --ea-php55=cgi --ea-php56=suphp 0 -
about 2 days, cpanel hasn't provided any solution yet. i would appreciate, if any one could give at least temporary solution to this issue. 0 -

Hello, To update, we've published an autofixer to repair the missing PHP handlers that resulted from the issue noted with internal case EA-7366. This should run automatically upon the nightly cPanel update, but you can also run it manually using the following command: /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/autorepair resolve_all_php_handlers_being_none
Thank you.0
