Apache overload and get down

Generation: 1 Parent Server MPM Generation: 0 Server uptime: 16 minutes 7 seconds Server load: 0.34 0.58 0.48 Total accesses: 402049 - Total Traffic: 15.8 GB CPU Usage: u300.3 s289.47 cu0 cs0 - 61% CPU load 416 requests/sec - 16.7 MB/second - 41.2 kB/request 3985 requests currently being processed, 540 idle workers and my app load very very slow, I dont know what is this 3958 request it going till 15000, and why cpy is 61% while when I use "top" command on ssh, cpu usage is like below: Tasks: 754 total, 1 running, 753 sleeping, 0 stopped, 0 zombie Cpu(s): 2.1%us, 1.3%sy, 0.0%ni, 94.8%id, 0.0%wa, 0.0%hi, 1.3%si, 0.5%st Mem: 51495176k total, 5703000k used, 45792176k free, 31488k buffers Swap: 0k total, 0k used, 0k free, 828652k cached Or when I send message notification to users this happen every thing goin crash ?
