    By the way, forgot to mention that this happened during/after a cPanel update, but I failed to find any relevant info inside the logs. Update timestamps for all affected servers gravitate towards this one: -rw------- 1 root root 286086 Apr 19 01:58 update.1524101641.log

    This happened to me right after daily cpanel update. How did you restore /opt/cpanel/ea-openssl/lib64/

    For others that come across this, I ran: /scripts/upcp --force yum -y update That added /opt/cpanel/ea-openssl/lib64 back and then apache started working.

    Hi, This is an issue that CloudLinux had, as indicated by @nat running yum -y update should resolve the issue. We have an internal case to track the issue CPANEL-19905 but CloudLinux has already released a post on this indicating that it should be resolved now as well: EasyApache 4 Bugfix Release Thank you,
