[Case CPANEL-20319] Conflicting A records are added for proxy subdomains upon update to version 70
Hello,
Internal case CPANEL-20319 is open to address an issue where updating to cPanel & WHM version 70 leads to the creation of duplicate "A" records for proxy subdomains in cases where the "A" record for a proxy subdomain was previously overwritten with a non-default value.
We are temporarily disabling updates to cPanel & WHM version 70 for systems using the RELEASE build tier until the solution for this case is published. I'll update this thread once the solution is published and updates are enabled again.

Hello, To update, this is solved in cPanel & WHM version 70.0.34: Fixed case CPANEL-20319: Skip adding proxy subdomains when a record already exists. Fixed case CPANEL-20325: Ensure custom records for proxy subdomains are preserved when updating. Version 70.0.34 is now published to the EDGE and CURRENT build tiers. It's tentatively planned for publication to the RELEASE build tier later today, at which point we'll enable updates to version 70 again. I'll update this thread again when that happens.
