cPanel Graceful Reboot Error

Hello, Since I installed cPanel / WHM on my CentOS 7 VPS I've had the problem where I have to gracefully reboot the server through WHM becase of updates. Everytime I update and click graceful restart, the server wont come up for at least an hour until I hard reboot it manually. My question is, where do I start looking for errors and what could be the causes? Thank you in advance. Regards, Jake

  Hi Jake, I would personally start with the cPanel error logs and messages. They can be found at: /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log and /var/log/messages respectively. If you don't find anything useful in either log file I would suggest opening a ticket using the link in my signature. Thanks!

  See if you can get the equivalent of serial console access, then reboot the server and watch it come up. You should easily see where it gets hung up at.

  So I in the meantime I was busy reinstalling my VPS to solve the problem as I got sick of not having my server online. After reinstalling OS, cPanel / WHM and the necessary modules/packages the server still gets stuck when gracefully rebooting. I waited 8 hours to see if the server needed time until I hard rebooted and it worked. I have the logs but the size of the file is too big to upload to Hastebin og Pastebin. I see quite a lot of errors but unsure what exactly they mean. I've created a ticket in the support department to see if they can help with the problem.   Thanks @Jallekobber The ticket is currently marked as an emergency because of that it should get picked up pretty quickly. I'll update here with any further updates on the ticket. Thanks!
