Mobile site domain SSL certificate mismatch

I have a cpanel SSL certificate installed on a domain and it works fine. I have now created a mobile sub domain ( mobile.mydomain ) but browsers are reporting the connection is not secure - this is the message I get; mobile.mydomain.com.au uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because it is self-signed. Error code: SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER How to I update the SSL certificate to cover the subdomain? If I go into "Manage SSL Hosts" in WHM, the 'mobile' subdomain is not listed (although all other variants of the domain are listed with a green padlock symbol)

  Hello, Are you using AutoSSL for this? If so, login as root to WHM, go to Manage AutoSSL and click on the check button for your user. The certificate should be updated in 10 minutes or so and will now include your new subdomain. Keep an eye on the Logs and at the Pending Queue just in case something fails during the process. If you're using a paid certificate, then you will need to buy another one for your subdomain, though a wildcard certificate will be better if you plan to use many subdomains.

  cPanel has done this brilliantly with AutoSSL and Comodo tie up. I don't there is need to get wildcard SSL when you get full domain SSL for free from Comodo. AutoSSL will generate SSL for all the domains, subdomains, and Addon domains for the account hosted on cPanel server..

  Hello @nivekau As suggested, re-running the AutoSSL process should identify that the new subdomain lacks coverage and as a result it should request a new certificate. Since this occurred on Saturday can you let us know if you're still having trouble with this? Thanks!
