Can't add DKIM record
Tried to add a DKIM record using whm > account functions > modify an account
We've added DKIM records many times. What has gone sideways?
Unable to enable DKIM: Cpanel::DnsUtils::Install::Processor:564: There is no zone file on this system that can contain "default._domainkey..".We've added DKIM records many times. What has gone sideways?

Hi, The error suggest zone file does not contain default.domainkey.. Can you check the DNS zone for this domain and verify it once? 0 -

There is no DKIM record, hence the attempt to create one, hence the error message received.0 -
Hello @jndawson, We have a couple of internal cases that likely relate to the error message you have reported. Could you let us know which version of cPanel & WHM is installed on this system? Also, for the affected account, is it's primary domain name a subdomain? If so, does the parent domain name of that subdomain exist as an alias (parked domain) in the cPanel account? Thank you. 0 -

v.70.0.44 [quote] Also, for the affected account, is it's primary domain name a subdomain? If so, does the parent domain name of that subdomain exist as an alias (parked domain) in the cPanel account?
No. We ran into the issue with another primary domain. Also, we've added DKIM records with no issue after we had the first issue, but had another fail after a couple of successes.0 -
We just updated to v.70.0.46 since it looked like one or two of the changes might address the issue. We checked the domain zones to which we couldn't add the DKIM record and it works now. 0 -
Hello, I'm glad to see the issue was solved in version 70.0.46. It's looks like this was related to the following case: Fixed case CPANEL-20449: Ignore empty zones when returning zone fetch results. Thank you. 0 -
