How to Reset DCV for AutoSSL

Hi All, Customer deleted pki-validation files across all his website (cause he didn't know what they were :| ). My question: how do I reset the (DCV) validation so I can renew his autoSSL certs? Have searched google world but maybe I am not asking the right question.
