    Hello @hookie, Can you let us know which version of cPanel & WHM is installed on your system? cat /usr/local/cpanel/version
    When testing the SFTP connection manually, are you testing from your cPanel server's command line? Also, do you have root access to the remote SFTP backup destination? If so, can you let us know the output to /var/log/secure when the destination validation attempt fails? Thank you.

    Hello, Version: 11.70.0.47 - Yes, I've root access [intend to backup all users so I didn't try to use a specific user's cP terminal] I've created FTP (no errors) & SFTP (uneble to be verified:) SFTP Validate atempt Error: Validation for transport "backup name" failed: Permission denied (publickey,password) Also, var/log/secure does't produce any fail information I've tried both pub key with or without a passphrase - Nothing :-( Thank you for helping!!!

    Hello, To update, our Technical Analysts determined this was the result of an unauthorized SSH key. The advice provided was to ensure the SSH key was authorized on the remote destination. Thank you.
