    Hello Paul, Can you check to see if a lack of available memory is leading to this issue? Here's a command you can use to check this: grep -i "Out of memory" /var/log/messages | grep spamd

    Hello Paul, Do you happen to use CSF/LFD on this system? If so, check to see if LFD is killing the process. The LFD log file is located at: /var/log/lfd.log Thank you.

    Hi, no CSF/LFD is not in use By the way here is some additional info /etc/redhat-release:CentOS Linux release 7.5.1804 (Core) /usr/local/cpanel/version:11.70.0.48 /var/cpanel/envtype:kvm CPANEL=release

    Problem was resolved by editing /etc/mail/spamassassin/pyzor.cf and adding the following text pyzor_timeout 20
