Chuck, Just use SSH to do the restore /scripts/restorepkg /location/to/the/backup.tar.gz

    The backups are just directories, not zip files. Can I just tar.gz the directory? /storage/cpanel2/cpbackup/daily # ls ./ carri/ schauc/ graph/ monog/ schick/ stlm/ ../ chucktem/ files/ graphi/ pettail/ shpark/ stlou/ Inside those directories are the files and directories for the account. ./ cp/ homedir_paths mma/ proftpdpasswd sds2 suspended/ vf/ ../ cron/ httpfiles/ mms/ psql/ shadow suspendinfo/ addons digestshadow ips/ mysql/ quota shell userconfig/ bandwidth/ dnszones/ locale/ mysql-timestamps/ resellerconfig/ ssl/ userdata/ bandwidth_db/ domainkeys/ logs/ mysql.sql resellerfeatures/ sslcerts/ va/ bandwidth_db.json has_sslstorage meta/ nobodyfiles resellerpackages/ ssldomain vad/ counters/ homedir/ mm/ pds sds sslkeys/ version Chuck

Hello @carock, Yes, you should be able to archive the directory into a .tar.gz file and then restore it using the command referenced in the earlier response. Thank you.

You shouldn't even need to tarball them, as long as the directory structure is the same you can just restore the path to the account like /scripts/restorepkg /storage/cpanel2/cpbackup/daily/schauc
