Install MySQL Enterprise on server with MySQL 5.5?

Our server, which has WHM/CPanel installed, is running MySQL 5.5. After learning about the tools that MySQL Enterprises has, we would like to install it but not sure if this would break anything on our server. We have a support ticket in but am wondering if anyone else has installed this on their server with WHM/CPanel.
