Unable to login to WHM
i installed Whm on my root after installing whm username and password are unable to login, what can i do please help

Hello @John11887, Can you access your server via SSH as root and verify what appears in /usr/local/cpanel/logs/login_log when your attempt to access WHM fails? For example, you'd run the following command, attempt to access WHM, and then check to see which new lines are added to the output: tail -f /usr/local/cpanel/logs/login_log

Hello @John11887, The log output is showing that you are using the wrong password to access WHM as root. Are you using the same root password when accessing the server as root via SSH, or are you accessing SSH with a key? Additionally, the output shows you are attempting to login to cPanel (ports 2082 or 2083) with the "root" username in some of the attempts. Ensure to only use the "root" username with port 2087 as part of the Web Host Manager login attempt. Thank you. 0 -
Are you using the same root password when accessing the server as root via SSH, Using passwrod to access ssh, when login 2087 i made use of same password with username root Thanks please get to me 0 -
Hello, Can you try using a different web browser to see if the issue persists? Also, if you're copying/pasting the password, make sure you're not including an extra space or character. Thank you. 0 -
Same Issue i also reset password from control panel still got Invalid login with different browser 0
