WHM has declined the connection error

Hello I just received an internal complaint that our WHM and cPanel are no longer accessible via browser. However, the websites hosted under cPanel are still available. When I call the URL of WHM I only get the message from Chrome: "This website is not reachable cpanel.example.com has declined the connection." Since then I have checked all known error logs and even performed a cPanel update in the console, without success. I hope someone here has had a similar problem or even the same and can help me.   This cname address (and the top level example.com) only resolves to localhost (127.0.0.1) at time of writing. You should check to see if you have adequate host, DNS and PTR entries configured for your server. Try and connect to WHM using

  Hello @elyday, Can you also check your firewall rules and the /etc/hosts.allow file to make sure access to cPanel or WHM isn't restricted to specific IP addresses? Thank you.

  I found the error earlier. Thank you @rpvw Strangely enough, our domain reseller has changed the routings to 127.0.0.1. Thank you both
