Click the radio button adjacent to the word STABLE, and then scroll to the bottom of the page and click on SAVE The next time your server runs upcp, or you trigger an update manually, you will upgrade to whatever version is allocated to the Stable channel at the time.

Hello, Ok, thank you very much for your instruction. Ok, I choose version STABLE, then Save. I would like to update manually. How to start upgrade? This is situation: 53051 I would like to start update manually, no via upcp. What I should choose? Best regards, Elizabeta Kre"o

WHM >> cPanel >> Upgrade to Latest Version > Click to Upgrade If that does not work because you have everything set to manual, use WHM >> Software >> System Update You should consider switching your server to allow automatic updates for cPanel and Operating System as well as for SpamAssassin - it is the safest way of ensuring your server is kept up-to-date with the latest security and stability fixs, not to mention the latest features for WHM and for your clients cPanel

Hello @Elizabeta, The information from @rpvw should help. Alternatively, if you want to manually update via the command line, use the following command: /scripts/upcp
We document this at: Update Preferences - Version 70 Documentation - cPanel Documentation Thanks!

Hello, Thank you for your answers. I have read on link Upgrade Blockers - Version 70 Documentation - cPanel Documentation . Must be on my server with cPanel&WHM version 68.0.36 installed LiteSpeed? Because I have no directory /usr/local/lsws/. About automatic update of cPanel I have a question: If we allow automatic updates for cPanel and Operating System, ok my server will be kept up-to-date with the latest security and stability fixs. But what about version of cpanel? I would like to version of cPanel&WHM be allways on stable version, not any release version. I have read Update Preferences - Version 70 Documentation - cPanel Documentation and I do not understand completely this "Automatic upgrades to new major versions To reduce support ticket influx, automatic upgrades to subsequent major versions of cPanel & WHM do not always occur immediately. In certain scenarios, the system applies a zero-to-four-business-day delay before your automatic upgrade executes." Where is delay defined? Any logs? Best regards, Elizabeta Kre"o

Hello @Elizabeta, The staggered release delay is not defined in a configuration file on your system. Instead, it's configured on our update servers. You can bypass the delay by forcing the update of cPanel using the following command: /scripts/upcp --force
    Thank you.

Hello, Thank you Michael for your answer. Ok, delay is defined on your update servers. I"ll put my server to allow automatic updates for cPanel and Operating System. I would like to update cPanel&WHM just on stable version. Is it enough to set up cpupdate.conf ? [root@cpanel log]# more /etc/cpupdate.conf CPANEL=stable RPMUP=daily SARULESUP=daily STAGING_DIR=/usr/local/cpanel UPDATES=daily Best regards, Elizabeta Kre"o

Yes, the output you provided shows that automatic cPanel updates are enabled for the STABLE release tier. Thanks!

Hello, I choosed on WHM Home-cPanel-Upgrade to Latest Version and the upgrade process is not yet finished, only 95%. 53171 When I log in to new session WHM I can see 53175 Before, I had version cPanel 68.0.36. On server from command line: [root@cptest log]# /usr/local/cpanel/cpanel -V 70.0 (build 51) Is upgrade process finished ok? Why is waiting on 95%? Best regards, Elizabeta

Hello @Elizabeta It is possible the update process was finishing up the maintenance portion. Is it still showing 95%? If so and you're able to access the server via SSH could you go to: /var/cpanel/updatelogs/
and look at the most recent update log to see if there are any errors noted? Thanks!
