Access cPanel only through http

Hello, My company can only access our cpanel through http and we can't have a secure connection of https. We have a dedicated server with a hosting company and have always had a valid SSL on our cpanel portal and actually on the cpanel. Today that changed and we get the standard privacy error, no valid SSL - but you can proceed. Our hosting company is now insisting that all we have to do is proceed through that non-secure page and use the cpanel without https. The problem is, we have clients that see the error too on their email because they use the hosting portal for their email. I just need community thoughts on this situation and what is the professional opinion is on how this is handled .

  Hi @watermelon I'm going to agree with @Infopro here, if they don't have an SSL on the hostname which is something cPanel offers for free, you may want to switch providers, there is no reason at this point to be continuing without an SSL.
