Hi @denverdataman Is the documentation on this helpful for you? Amazon AWS Instance Management - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation Launch an AWS AMI Instance - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation If you found that it was not helpful can you let me know the issues you experienced with it? Thanks!

On a related note, I resized the disk and now I cannot access the machine at all. I cannot access the machine by SSH or the web. This is supposed to be solved in this iteration. Any ideas? Thanks, Steve

Hi @denverdataman I'm having trouble locating where you're seeing that this should be resolved (not that it should be happening at all) would it be possible for you to link me the documentation where you're seeing that?

Hi @denverdataman What is the error you get when you try and log in now? Is it possible the ports aren't open on the machine?

Hi @denverdataman If you start the server do they allow console access to it so you can log in? The only thing I can think of is maybe it came back in Single User mode or somehow on the server (not through your AWS UI) the ports are closed. You can check the ports by running nmap from a linux CLI nmap -Pn -p 2087,22,80,443

I have no access to the server at all. I cannot get it by SSH at all to execute any commands. I am not aware of any way to send a command to a server without SSH or another remote access protocol enabled. Can I open a ticket for this?

Hi @denverdataman The command I requested you run can be done from a different server. None the less your server being inaccessible isn't something we'd be able to assist with. This is something you'd need to address with Amazon, and while you're more than welcome to open a ticket we can't help without access to the server unfortunately. Thanks!

Hi @ERDEM YASAR Can you confirm what version of cPanel you're running? In order to do this you'd need to access the server via SSH and run the following: cat /usr/local/cpanel/version
Can you also ensure that cpsrvd is running: /scripts/restartsrv_cpsrvd
And let me know the output of any of the above. Thanks!

Hi @ERDEM YASAR It seems like cPanel may not actually be installed in your image. We do have an internal case on this open already NO-1347 but until it's resolved, can you please open a ticket using the link in my signature so that we can help you with installing cPanel. Once open please reply with the Ticket ID here so that we can update this thread with the resolution once the ticket is resolved. Thanks!

Hi @Erdem Yasar If you go to log in at cPanel Customer Portal you should be able to reset your password if that's the issue. Thanks!

Hi, I'm experiencing the same problem @denverdataman had "I can get onto SSH and I see the hostname is the EC2 Instance Public DNS. However, if I got to the public DNS name I get a resolution error. If I go to the IP address as a domain name it redirects to the Public DNS name." I used the guides to create a new EC2 instance, following all the steps one by one, twice. It doesn't work for me. Always redirect me to the private DNS name. I'm using the version 11.78.0.21 Any sugestion? Thanks!
