Uploading a backup file issue

Hello, a friend sent me a backup file of his site and I want to restore it in my site (we both use cPanel). The file looks like 'sitename.tar.zip.001' and I tried to restore it in FILES --> BACKUP --> RESTORE A HOME DIRECTORY BACKUP; but it doesn't work (opens a new page that says 'upload 0%' forever). It's the first time I use cPanel, so I'm a beginner. I hope someone can help me! :) Thank you very much. SZ8

  You won't be able to restore that file. Apparently it's an incomplete download, that's why the file ends in a number. You'll need to re-download the Full Website Backup from the Backups tool in that account's current cPanel if you're planning on restoring it to another server.

  Thank you so much. I read something relatively .001 files and cpanel documentation before opening this thread and I imagined the problem is that but I wasn't sure!!!! So thank you very much for your help! :)
