Favorite Features to Add to cPanel?
I have sadly used Plesk for 18 years. Much was included though. Like applications, a basic web site editor, etc. But now that we're switching all of our servers to cPanel for Linux I am curious as to favorite and most useful/functional add-on's. I'd like to ask for advice.
What is the favored responsive site builder? RV? Site.pro? Other?
Softaculous or other?
How about back-up options? Do any back-up the OS as well or just the sites?
We have a small user base and don't represent a threat to anyone.

Thank you for your reply. Its been a tough morning. The actual question was based on your market research which specific applications are recommended for a new server? Which builder tool? Which backup tool? I can read a catalog but that isn't going to answer my question on what the most preferred applications are. Sooo... I'm asking for guidance. 0 -

There are no specific third-party applications that we recommend, and the usage is not something that's tracked. Generally, the use of third-party applications it's based on the preferences and needs of the individual server owner. Are you sure a third-party application is required in-lieu of the native options offered directly in cPanel & WHM? This question was directed to the hosts that have added things like Softaculous, RV Site Builder, Site.pro, Cloudflare, and others. I am coming from Plesk Onyx that had many features native to it like Site.Pro ($10), remote DNS management and many others. Most had an additional fee so a server wold end up costing $300/mo. just in software add-on's. I AM NO FAN OF PLESK! But Plesk is undoubtedly the worst supported just like Virtuozzo. For 18 years I've battled with support doing a half a$$ed job. Taking days to answer tickets. Not understanding English well enough to handle issues with a week of back and forth. I have found cPanel just the opposite. My small customer base has often begged for cPanel and eventually left. So I've left Plesk. That means that I am starting fresh after 18 years and seeking suggestions. I have no software engineer to guide me with answers and so I ask... 0 -

To be honest, if you're looking for opinions, webhostingtalk forums has lots of folks with opinions. I would think there are many threads asking this sort of question over there already. Users will promote products they like with reviews and such which is permitted. You'll reach a far wider audience there as well with SysAdmin experiences moving from plesk to cPanel. If I was to give you any advice on this if would be to only install what you need to have. Don't pack it all in thinking it'll help sell accounts. Good Customer Service and a rock solid secure server is far more important than 15 add-ons sitting there taking up space in a well made cPanel interface that no one will ever use, and, you need to keep updated and maintained.
