Hello @plesk4lyf, The transfer session age is 30 days. At that point, the session expires and the log file is removed as part of /scripts/expunge_expired_transfer_sessions which runs during the maintenance phase of the nightly cPanel update process. Thank you.

Hey @cPanelMichael, Thanks for that! The way you worded it raises some questions. It sounds like you're saying that transfer sessions aren't just when the transfer is in progress and the two servers are connected. Is that right? But then if the transfer session isn't expired, then why does cPanel generate another session ID for subsequent transfers from the same source server? Shouldn't it reuse the previous session ID? Apart from that, if there an option in WHM to not remove the previous transfer logs or should I make a cronjob to backup the transfer_sessions files for safekeeping? Thanks!

I should have clarified that a bit more. The session itself won't last for 30 days. It's just the log file associated with the session that will exist for 30 days.

There's no option to modify the length at which the transfer session log files are removed. You'd need to create a cron job to backup those files if you need them. Thank you.
