Mysql is consuming a lot of CPU
Hello Everyone!
I am having an issue on my dedicated server with cpanel.
Mysql is consuming a lot of CPU, I am sending a printscreen to see. All day long there is this message in Process Manager saying that Mysql is using about 35% of the CPU.
/usr/sbin/mysqld --basedir=/usr --datadir=/var/lib/mysql --plugin-dir=/usr/lib64/mysql/plugin --user=mysql --log-error=server.delalibera.com.err --open-files-limit=32000 --pid-file=/var/lib/mysql/server.delalibera.com.pid
Can anybody help me fix this?
Thank you.

Hello @delalibera, Do you notice any actual slowness or performance issue when opening your websites, or is it just the percentage of CPU value that you are concerned about? You can run the "mysqladmin processlist" command to get a better idea of which databases are using the most resources at any given time. Thank you. 0 -
Hello cPanelMichael, thank you for your help. I do not see problem of slowness in the sites. My concern is only the high CPU usage, I do not know if this is normal. What do you think? Can you tell me some tutorial to improve the performance of mysql? Thank you. 0 -
