Databases on Server not working?

Hi All, We're not sure what has happened but a lot of the Wordpress websites that we host on our CPanel server keep getting errors connecting to the database. We have not touched anything!!!! We're running CPanel v72.0.10 We are stumped as to what is happening. Can anyone please shed some light on what we can do to get this going as we have upset clients. Thanks Jay
