I have already made this change, despite that the message remains present .. "You must reboot the server to apply software updates."

Hello @jimmy57000, Have you already rebooted the container? If so, it's likely the issue relates to the information on the following post:

Hello, Were you able to review the thread linked in my previous response? If so, can you confirm which Operating Systems are installed on the VPS host node and the individual container? Thank you.

The issue here is that your host node uses Debian. Thus, the system_needs_reboot WHM API 1 function is likely reporting information from the host node instead of the container itself due to an incompatibility between the container's operating system and the host node's operating system or virtualization software. The solution to this is to reinstall the OS on the node itself so that it uses CentOS instead of Debian. Otherwise, you'll need to contact the Proxmox support team to report that the CentOS /usr/bin/needs-restarting application is reporting information about the host node instead of the individual container to see if there's a solution. Thank you.

Hello, I managed to install cPanel on unprivileged LXC container (CentOS 7) without any issue. All service are working. But I notice some errors in /var/log/messages which refer to some rlimits. But I dont know what kind of problems can we expect at all with unprivileged LXC container. Maybe some expert from cPanel know this? Regards,

When I install cPAnel on a Proxmox CT, I get this error: (ERROR): Could not install default EA4 profile (FATAL): Failed to install EA4 ( INFO): Waiting for ([EA4 to be installed]). (FATAL): The background process ?A4 Install?failed with a fatal error: The subprocess reported error number 1 when it ended. (FATAL): The system failed to run the /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/cpanel_initial_install script.
    do you have any idea?

I can install cPanel On LXC but I give this message in WHM: Filesystem quotas are currently disabled. Click to enable... my server doesn't have /etc/fstab and when I run /scripts/fixquotas, nothing happens. Can the problem be solved?
