According to the release notes at: Email Accounts interface (cPanel >> Home >> Email >> Email Accounts):
    • Click Manage Suspension.
    • Select Allow for the Send option.
    • If applicable, click Delete messages from the mail queue to remove any queued messages.
    • Click Save.

Hello @ebizindia, The previous post by @rpvw is correct. There's also a UAPI function available if you prefer to release the held messages via the command line: UAPI Functions - Email::release_outgoing - Developer Documentation - cPanel Documentation EX: uapi --user=username Email release_outgoing email=username%40example.com
    Thank you.

Just wanted to point out that many people use forwarders and send mail from scripts with the "from address" set as the forwarder. This is quite common. Unfortunately this new functionality doesn't give the customer an opportunity to release messages for those addresses - so from their point of view, messages they are sending are not getting through and they don't know why. There needs to be an interface in WHM so that we can see what addresses currently have mail held and release them, or you need to add the same functionality available in Email Accounts to the Forwarders section of cpanel too.

Hello @4u123, I believe the following feature request matches the functionality you are seeking: Add option to release/deliver queued email for a cPanel user in the UI. I've voted for the request, and I encourage anyone seeing this post with the same request to vote and add comments to it. Thanks!

Mate, your feature request will be taking 3 years or their website will be vanish and everyone needs to request again...

Well, it's been about 3 years, and looks like still a problem. I'm trying to release emails that are being sent from an address that is not a mailbox and haven't figured out a way to do it yet, at least manually.

While the uapi and whmapi1 commands I found did not work. I did just find a solution. Removing the email from /etc/outgoing_mail_hold_users worked. There's also a /etc/outgoing_mail_suspended_users for ones that go there.
