Properly disable redirect to hostname?
Hi guys,
I have canceled cPanel redirection to the hostname by turning off "Always redirect to SSL/TLS".
How ever when trying to access "domain.com:2083" it redirects to "xxxx.hostaname.com:2083" unlike accessing "domain.com/cpanel" which works fine and doesn't redirect to the hostname..
What can be done to solve this? :)
*Any other solutions to separate WHM access will be welcomed :)

WHM > Tweak Settings > Redirection Choose the closest matched domain for which that the system has a valid certificate when redirecting from non-SSL to SSL URLs > Off Non-SSL redirect destination > Origin Domain Name SSL redirect destination > Origin Domain Name Require SSL for cPanel Services > Off Restart your web browser., there will be no redirects anymore. 0 -
Those are my current settings, like i mentioned there are no redirections when accessing domain.com/capnel or cpanel.domain.com. I"ve cleared cache, re-started the browser, tried different browsers, incognito mode... still when trying to access via the port (domain.com:2083) it is redirected to (xxxx.hostname.com:2083) which i want prevent 0 -
Hello @UxCrazy, Can you run the below command and let us know the output? grep ssl /var/cpanel/cpanel.config
Also, keep in mind the best approach to solve this issue is to ensure a signed SSL certificate is installed for the individual domain name. You can ensure a free signed SSL certificate is installed on the domain name via the AutoSSL feature:0
