Wilcard SSL with different IP on different server

Hi guys, excuse me if i'm asking basking questions., I've purchased a Wilcard SSL certificate and am using it on my domain ex. "website.com". Then created a subdomain through cpanel ex. "sub.website.com" and cpanel automatically creates a direcotry public_html/sub So now, I have a main domain: website.com, and a subdomain: sub.website.com website.com has the IP of 111.111.111.111, and I want the sub.website.com to point to a different IP and server that is located accross the globe: ex. 222.222.222.222, so I then changed it in the zone editor to point it to 222.222.222.222. And now,

• website.com's IP is 111.111.111.111,
• sub.website.com's IP is 222.222.222.222

I installed the Wildcard SSL certificate for sub.website.com through Cpanel's TLS/SSL, but it doesnt work for the sub.website.com. The browser says that it's not secure when connecting to sub.website.com through https (it says it uses a self-signed certificate), but works with http. Can anybody help what I'm doing wrong?
