Apache status page question

The status of apache 2.4 2 requests currently being processed, 123 idle workers _______________________C________________________________________ _____W_______________________________________________________... Whereas i have hell lot of traffic i never see more than one or two 'W' It confuses me

  Hi, It does appear weird, however, I would like to know do you have any caching mechanism on your server, so there are chances that the requests are directly served through the cache..
