start_autossl_check on account with previously valid certificate

Hi, If I have an account and it has an SSL certificate on it that was generated using AutoSSL, and then I delete that certificate from the account using the API delete_ssl function. Then I call the API start_autossl_check function, does AutoSSL use the previous certificate and just re-install it, or does the provider generate a new cert, which would go then against the provider's count limits. Thanks!

  Hello @swbrains, This topic was brought up internally in the past as part of internal case CPANEL-14703. If you remove the SSL certificate from the server, and then perform another AutoSSL check, then a new certificate is issued. A new domain control validation process is required when using Comodo, but isn't required when using Let's Encrypt. Thank you.
