Backup bandwidth limit

Is it possible to limit the rate at which backup data is sent to a remote server (in this case S3). I'm seeing a huge spike in data transfer when the backup is running, which is fair enough, but its causing high mpbs for a significant period of time, and I'm being dinged for it by my colo for bandwidth fees.   Hello Allan, There are no features in cPanel & WHM that will allow you to configure a network speed limit for the server or for a specific backup destination type. This is generally something you'd want to consult with a system administrator about. That said, I encourage you to open a feature request if you'd like to see something like this added to the product:
