What is legacy version of cPanel?
Hello,
I have stable cPanel&WHM version 72.0.11. But I saw in documentation that there is legacy version of cPanel. What is difference for this two version?
Best regards,

Hello @Elizabeta, Can you provide the link where you see a reference to a "Legacy" cPanel & WHM version? Are you referring to the Long-Term Support version? If so, we document that at: cPanel Long-Term Support - Version 74 Documentation - cPanel Documentation Thank you. 0 -
Hello, Thank you Michael for your answer. I saw on this link: Release Notes for Legacy cPanel Versions - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation And: cPanel API 2 Functions - AddonDomain::deladdondomain - Developer Documentation - cPanel Documentation In last link there is information: Function information Module: AddonDomain API Version: 0 -
Hello @Elizabeta, "Legacy" in this context means a version that was available in the past and no longer supported. For instance, cPanel & WHM version 11.36 is a "legacy" version because it was released years ago and is no longer supported. As far as the cPanel API 2 documentation, it's informing you that the specific API function was first introduced in cPanel & WHM version 11 (e.g. 11.26). This document should help clarify how it works: Product Versions and the Release Process - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation Thank you. 0 -
Hello, Thank you very much Michael for your explanation. It is clear now :-) Best regards, Elizabeta 0
