Hold Mail in Queue for Mail Box Over Quota
Is it no longer possible to allow the server to hold mail in the queue when a user's mail box is over quota to be delivered after the quota issue is cleared? I'm using Version 74.0.4.

Hmm, that is interesting. I just checked on a live server of mine and did not notice a way to hold mail if a quota is full. As far as I knew, when a quota is reached, emails are essentially rejected and at that point, the sending mailserver re attempts based on its own settings or until successful. 0 -
Yes. That is apparently the way it is now. However, in the past there used to be something in Tweak Settings that would allow the receiving mail server to hold the mail in queue. I know this is the case because I have had 1 or 2 clients who consistently have had this problem. I adjust their mailbox quotas for them and then often would force a queue run so that the held mail would get delivered. It seems that is no longer an option. 0 -
Hello @ramorse, The following option is available in WHM >> Service Configuration >> Mailserver Configuration: Disk Quota Delivery Failure Response You can select Defer delivery temporarily if you want the emails queued instead of rejected. Thank you. 0 -
