Permanently modify the LimitRecursion setting?

Hi, is there any way to permanently modify the LimitRecursion setting in /etc/pure-ftpd.conf so that WHM updates DON'T revert it? I have it set on: LimitRecursion 20000 8 WHM updates keep resetting it to 10000. It's not 1988 anymore. FTP directories can very well have over 10000 files and it kind of sucks that I have to manually think about reverting this setting every time my WHM updates. When I forget, I have users complaining they can only list 9999 files. Thanks Why isn't this setting in this section, see attached screenshot.
