Unable to connect to the database error

Please can someone help me out, this is the notification i keep getting when trying to log in to my email DATABASE ERROR: CONNECTION FAILED! Unable to connect to the database! Please contact your server-administrator. im new to all this so im not sure what to do Thanks

  since you are listed as a website owner you will need to contact your provider to resolve the issue

  Hello @Levern Rothwell, The previous post is correct. The error message suggests that MySQL is not running, and thus your web hosting provider would need to assist you with that. Let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you.

  Thank you, it seemed to have worked this morning! i think it could of been an error throughout the network
