Hi @marcuszan Can you show me what the version is noted as for the installation by running the following: grep version cPanel::Blogs::WordPressX.0.yaml
Are there multiple WordPress installations for the account? Thanks!

Hi, your command gives me grep: cPanel::Blogs::WordPressX.0.yaml: No such file or directory
On these accounts I have 1 WP install per account. Thanks

Hi @marcuszan That's entirely my fault I didn't give you the path to the file, I apologize for that. Please try this again with the following (replace $youruser with the username of the account experiencing the issue): grep version /home/$youruser/.cpaddons/cPanel::Blogs::WordPressX.0.yaml

    Hi Lauren, this is result of your command "mysql-version": '5.7' "mysql.wp.mysql-version": '5.7' "version": '4.9.7' "version_key": ~
In WP admin it says version v4.9.8 Thanks

Hi @marcuszan Perfect, thanks for providing that information. We do have a case open for this where the yaml file wasn't getting updated when WordPress was CPANEL-23030 I believe we can work around this by manually modifying that yaml to reference the "version" as 4.9.8 Can you let me know if that resolves the issue for you? Thanks!

I see the entry of version number 2 times in this file. "installed_4.9.7": '1531389868'
    and later this "version": '4.9.7'
I assume I need to change both ? Thanks

Hi @marcuszan Good catch! I didn't realize it was present twice, I'll add that information to the internal case. Yes, please change it in both spots and let me know if the issue persists. Thanks!

I changed the values. Now I will have to wait for the next WP update to see if the file changed with it. Will report back. Thanks

Hi @marcuszan Perfect, definitely let us know if it persists. I'll also update this thread with any updates on the status of the internal case which is still open and unresolved at this time. Thanks!

Hi, Same issue again now. In order to protect the security of your website, we recommend that you upgrade the following scripts that were installed via the "Scripts Library" in your cPanel interface: - WordPressX.0 v4.9.8 Location: at http://domain.com/ Latest: v5.0.2
cpanel and wp admin show I am running 5.0.2 but still I get this email

Hello, This case is not resolved at this time, my assumption is that the yaml file will have to get updated everytime wordpress is updated internally until the issue is resolved. I'll update here when CPANEL-23030 has been resolved. Thanks!

HI @marcuszan I wouldn't assume so, though I'm not a developer. I'll let you know as soon as there are any updates though.
