Upgrading CentOS 6.x?
Forcing a full reinstallation of the whole operating system was old way from year 2014.
Need help if this works:
As I understand it is advice to make it a fresh installation and image backup for all data.
Linux command:
1. $ sudo preupg
2. $ sudo rpm --import http://isoredirect.centos.org/centos/7/os/x86_64/RPM-GPG-KEY-CentOS-7
3. sudo /usr/bin/redhat-upgrade-tool-cli --network 7 --instrepo=Index of /centos/7/os/x86_64

Hello @toplisek I recommend creating backups of your accounts/configuration files: Backup Configuration - Version 74 Documentation - cPanel Documentation The cpconftool Script - Version 74 Documentation - cPanel Documentation You'll need to ensure the backups are stored on a remote server or workstation. Once the backups are created and stored on the remote server, you can then proceed to reinstall a minimal instance of CentOS 7 on the server. From there, you can transfer the backup archives to the cPanel server to restore: Backup Restoration - Version 74 Documentation - cPanel Documentation The cpconftool Script - Version 74 Documentation - cPanel Documentation (using the restore feature) Thank you. 0 -
