Regenerate hostname SSL after IP change?
What do you do when you have swapped out the IP address of the server hostname ? Thus the one associated with the main WHM /services cert which is supplied by cPanel?
Under SSL/TLS - "Manage SSL Hosts" - all client domains are showing the new IPs. The server hostname certificate issued by cPanel for the WHM and services is still showing the old IP address.
What is the process to fix this ?
If I go to verify.cpanel.net and input the new IP, it shows license AOK.

Hello @ottdev, The free cPanel-signed SSL certificate for the server's hostname is not installed for the Apache service by default. There's a feature request open for this at: The checkallsslcerts Script - Version 74 Documentation - cPanel Documentation Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you. 0 -
SSL Host Removal Failed to load userdata for "$file" ($domainowner)! Is there typically supposed to be an end-user type cpanel "account" existing on the server for the hostname ? 0 -

Hello @ottdev, No, associating the server's hostname with a cPanel account is not recommended due to the potential configuration conflicts it can cause. I can't reproduce the error message you provided, but try simply overwriting the existing certificate for the hostname by reinstalling the new certificate using WHM >> Install an SSL Certificate on a Domain instead of deleting the existing one first. Thank you.0
