According to my host it seems the SSL cert was a complimentary cert from Cpanel and that I would need to purchase a new SSL. I can buy through them, but the cheapest price is 29.99. It might be a bit much since no e-commerce is occurring on the domain. Unless I'm mistaken, it doesn't seem like cPanel offers SSl certs. What a mess, since google has my site indexed with https.

You can save the $29.99. Ask your hosting company that you require LetsEncrypt SSL certificate, which is supported out of the box by Cpanel/WHM and is a one click install. Also it is free. Hello @gpalz, The AutoSSL feature included with cPanel & WHM allows for free signed SSL certificates, but it doesn't appear your web hosting provider is using the AutoSSL feature. The image you provided shows a third-party feature named "AutoInstallSSL", which isn't the same thing. I recommend reaching out to your web hosting company to inquire if the AutoSSL feature is available. Thank you.
