Dedicated or VPS Version

Question. I am working with a client on some issues. The above image, what does CentOS 6.10 KVM suggest? He claims it is a dedicated server, but KVM to me suggests a virtual environment.
I know there are some differences between the Cpane/WHM dedicated and VPS licensing. Can someone shine some light on this?

that would indicate that its a KVM virtual server 0 -
I suspected as much, however he has been sold a Dedicated Server for some years now. I first suspected it wasn't a Dedicated Server when I saw the KVM in the OS version and then with an lspci at the terminal, I started seeing virtualized hardware. 00:03.0 Ethernet controller: Red Hat, Inc. Virtio network device 00:04.0 SCSI storage controller: Red Hat, Inc. Virtio block device 00:05.0 SCSI storage controller: Red Hat, Inc. Virtio block device 00:06.0 RAM memory: Red Hat, Inc. Yes its a VPS and not a dedicated Server with dedicated hardware. 0 -
