Issuing let's encrypt certificate problem
Hello every body
I want install free ssl on my user's domain but I see below error:
There was a problem processing your request
- Error issuing certificate
- Failed to issue certificate
- Updating challenge for domain.tld: acme: error code 400 "urn:ietf:params:acme:error:dns": DNS problem: SERVFAIL looking up A for domain.tld (order URL: [removed]

Is the user assigned a domain? Check the DNS entries. The default domain should be non-www version which should be pointed to the server IP. Add a A Record in the DNS zone for www version of the domain. Let the DNS changes propagate, then try re-issuing the certificate. 0 -
Hi @Zahra95 As suggested by @Anupam SG I believe it sounds like you need to check the A record for the domain. It sounds as though the DCV process was unable to confirm that the domain did actually resolve. Thanks! 0 -
Hello @cPanelLauren Exactly my problem is A record please guide me :) Thank you 0 -
Hi @Zahra95 You'll need to log in at the registrar for the domain and point it to this server, either add an A record with the server's IP address or point the nameservers to your server. Thanks! 0 -
