Webalizer and Awstats are not Recording Stats
Hi! :) Webalizer, and Awstats didn't log anything in September except for a couple, seemingly random, days. They recorded on the 8th, 9th, 13th, 14th, 18th, and the 30th. Webalizer, and Awstats also started recording again on the same days.
This is my server setup, and I'm the root administrator.
So I tried to Google if anyone else is experiencing this, as well as these forums. I saw this thread

I'll also attach an image of the current daily statistics for October so they can be compared. Webalizer and Awstats decided to work on October 3rd, and only that day in this month so far. You can use command "/scripts/restartsrv_httpd" to restart webserver and it will write log again. 0 -

Thank you Lauren! I opened a ticket, and the people there found the issue. piped_logs are enabled so it required that the split log processes to be running, however they were not running. So there were no stats for Webalizer and Awstats to report. Some process that I don't know yet, is killing the split log process. I don't have any custom processes that I know of on the server, so I'm not sure what it is. When Apache was restarted the logs started recording again. A quick fix was to disable piped_logs in WHM > Service Configuration > Apache Configuration > Piped Log Configuration 0 -
