Hi, Currently, on which version of cpanel your system is running on?

If your current version of cPanel is newer than the LTS, it may be impossible to downgrade to the LTS and the option will probably be greyed out in your WHM >> Server Configuration >> Update Preferences. You will probably have to switch off Daily Updates until such time as your installed version matches the LTS version, and then select LTS from the available tiers. You should be able to then switch Daily Updates back on at that point. It doesn't look like the next LTS is due for release until the end of March 2019, so you may want to reappraise your strategy. 74. I've stayed on Stable tier since being bumped off LTS.

I can't find any documentation other than that stating that the v70 has an anticipated end of life on the 31st March 2019 cPanel Long-Term Support - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation Sorry to not be of much help - maybe one of the cPanel staff can give you more information on Monday.

Hi, cPanel Long-Term Support - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation -> As per the above documentation, the cPanel & WHM Version LTS 70 was released on May 2018 and ends on March 2019.. On what LTS Tier version you are on (not cPanel) ?

As noted a couple of times the LTS version is currently v70 but you cannot downgrade cPanel. When we get closer to the date that v70 will be EoL there will be an announcement of which version will be the new LTS. For now I'd select stable and "Manual Updates Only" but be vigilant about updating.

Do we know which version will be the next LTS?

Apparently, the next version to enter LTS will be version 78; scheduled to be released some time in January 2019, and this is the only planned LTS version for 2019.

Thanks! Just curious how you know this. I was planning on sitting on 76 but if you know for certain, I won't hesitate to move to 78 when it's Stable.
