Configure mod_remoteip for Cloudflare?
-
Have you look at this yet? How do I restore original visitor IP with EasyApache + cPanel? 0 -
Thanks GOT. I was looking for information but nothing was clear. But I see that this is the best way to install mod_cloudflare and not use mod_remoteip To uninstall the module would also be done through Easy Apache? 0 -
Correct you would just rerun EA without the module enabled. 0 -

Hello, and thanks for your help. I tested mod_cloudflare but Cloudflare stopped supporting. Again I ask the original question on this topic Can someone help me set up mod_remoteip for Cloudflare? Thank you. 0 -
Thank ypou @cPanelLauren. About "configure LogFormat" that comment in this thread: SOLVED - Visitor IPs in Logs using cloudflare
Whta is the correct way to configure?0 -
Hi @Nurs1927 I believe that's in relation to adding the %c directive to the logformat (as discussed in mod_remoteip - Apache HTTP Server Version 2.4) to the apache template at /var/cpanel/templates/apache2_4/ea4_main.default

Excuse me for jumping in - not 100% clear what the current best practice is; Restore origin IP in server logs: Option 1: install mod_cloudflare according to - Option 2: install Is mod_remoteip available on the WHM Easy Apache interface? Thanks for clearing that up for me! 0 -
Hello, yes remote_ip is available in Easy Apache 4 I think the best practice is to use remote_ip because mod_cloudflare is discontinued and is completely integrated in easyapache. For now I have mod_cloudflare, but I'll change it shortly. 0
