Queueprocd - Maxing out CPU Usage
Hi everyone, I apologize in advance if the following post is supposed to be posted elsewhere. Anyway, here we go:
So, I've been given root access to our hosting server which is running CloudLinux 6.10 and cPanel 74.0.9. I've run into this issue multiple times where I get an email that states that our resources are being exceeded. After some digging, I can see that queueprocd is the culprit. Many times I notice that when the CPU is maxing out it's because queueprocd is trying to "Process the next task in queue", whenever I check what task is supposed to be run via the "Task Queue Monitor" I see that it's been trying to process "add_ip_for_known_user". I have seen that task hang for about 5 hours, and once it went to the next process in the queue it took hours to process that one as well. I restarted the service and it always cleans things right up, however, I'm just wondering why this is happening, I've already given the server double the CPU power and I'm still getting notifications? Any ideas?
Note: Sorry if this isn't that informative, will provide any information that's required to help resolve this issue that much faster.

Hello @MrFantastic, Could you open a0 -
It has not happened recently since the post, if it comes up again I will move forward with creating a support ticket. Thank you. 0 -
Got the same problem - queueprocd has very high CPU consumption. How did you resolved the issue? 0
