Hello, i received this email [quote] Your free cPanel-signed hostname SSL certificate for xxx.yyyyyyy.zzz is available cPanel SSL Certificate Your system upgrade to cPanel & WHM includes a free SSL certificate for your server's hostname. This email confirms that the system will soon automatically download and install your free SSL certificate. Comodo" cross-signs your new certificate, which 99.9% of browsers trust. Your free certificate will renew automatically, less than one week before its expiration date, at no cost to you. The certificate covers the following domains: xxx.yyyyyyy.zzz Also at "Home "SSL/TLS "SSL Storage Manager" i see that i have ssl (at key & at Certificates) "xxx.yyyyyyy.zzz (auto-generated for "Comodo Free Hostname SSL" on 10/31/18 at 1:29 AM UTC)" Why i received this email from cpanel ???

  cPanel, Inc. offers valid cPanel & WHM license holders a free signed certificate for the services on your server's hostname. This offer replaces the certificates for these services that meet any of the following conditions:

  • Maintains a weak signature algorithm.
  • Revoked.
  • Self-signed.
  • Invalid (For example, your server's hostname must be valid and resolve in DNS).
  • Expires in less than 25 days.

  When the existing certificate meets any of these conditions, the server will order a replacement certificate when the /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/upcp maintenance runs. The system will download and install that certificate when available. If the existing certificate expires before the replacement certificate is available, the system will install a self-signed certificate, and then replace it with the ordered certificate when available.   Shall i have to do anything? It is an automatically procedure? Will this affect any of my websites?

  The installation of the host certificates should happen automatically, and should not affect any of your websites. You may want to check that the new certificate has been correctly applied to your services : WHM >> Service Configuration>> Manage Service SSL Certificates

  Hello @thanasis, No action is required. The notification is to let you know the free certificate for your hostname was installed on your services. It's not associated with the SSL certificates used by your websites over Apache. Thank you.
