Downgrade cPanel v74 to any version where no API is changed
Dear cPanel,
Your latest version V74.x.x broke the connection with my automation tool, looking at WHMcs forum there is no solution other than to upgrade WHMcs and use API token, but you have never ever seen the huge problems and issues I will have with a heavily modified WHMcs, so please give me instructions in how to downgrade to any version below v74 where my Remote access key will work. I need to be able to Create new and Suspend accounts, prefer not manually!
Why not give the option to use both ways of access?
I am sure I am not the only one...

Hello @Wabun I am sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues but there are no supported methods to downgrade to previous versions of cPanel. I also want to note that updated versions of WHMCS should not be experiencing this issue. To resolve issues with xml-api being used as it was deprecated some time ago - deprecated in v68 then removed in v74 the best course of action would be to update your version of WHMCS. I'd suggest if you need assistance I'd suggest contacting them directly. Thanks! 0 -
cPanel, the last year your way is giving a lot of grief, I am considering to swap to another panel, seems your just introducing things what breaks or gives us administrators a headache in finding why things stop working which worked fine before. Why not fix that stupid quota bug first !!! Who the heck makes a feature to stop outging email, but not giving a GUI to release in WHM.... my god, I am getting fed up... 0 -
Hi @Wabun I'm sorry to hear about your frustrations, I'd like to help though. What quota bug are you referencing? Who the heck makes a feature to stop outging email, but not giving a GUI to release in WHM
I'm not sure what you're referencing here you can hold/release mail from cPanel>>Email>>Email Accounts>>Manage Suspensions what feature do you mean?0
