    For server-wide protection, we suggest MagicSpam. We use Fusemail for better per-domain filtering. Mailchannels for outbound spam protection and blacklist protection.

    Personally, I use SpamAssassin, it's very configurable and simple but the rulesets we provide in Tweak Settings are all a lot of people need. This works for both inbound and outbound spam though we do require you specifically enable it for outbound as it can cause higher resource usage if you have a busy mailserver. The RBL filtering suggestion is fantastic @ES - George as well as the 3rd party recommendations @GOT I've also hear good things about SpamExperts if you wanted to go with a 3rd party service as well as ASSP for something to manage yourself.
