Error validating RSYNC backup destination using a symlink

Hello, as title says, im trying to validate a RSYNC backup destination using inside the remote user home a symlink to a partition outside the home. Permissions are ok since i can ssh to the server and check, but the destination keeps failing. Any reason or workaround to this problem?

  Hello @sys_alex, It's possible this relates to internal case CPANEL-23012. Can you confirm if you are using incremental backups with the Rsync destination type? Thank you.

  I've confirmed the error was with the destination. So in this case cPanel wasn't involved. Thanks anyway!
