php session.save_path set in .user.ini

Hello, I have a cPanel account that has set the session.save_path in their .user.ini file to a custom location: session.save_path = "/home/USER/sess/" The issue seems to be that this location does not get any garbage collection done, so the session files have grown to over 17GB, and causing the account to go over quota. Is there a remedy for this scenario? Thanks in Advance!
