Want to setup an inhouse test bench.

I am tossing up whether to setup a XAMP environment or just go all out for a cpanel environment on a centos based virtualbox bridging my internet live IP to the virtualbox virtual lan device. This would help a lot when putting the developments live but what are your views?

  I'd go the full cpanel route personally. Keep your dev and live environments the same as much as possible.

  There can be so many differences that are unaccounted for, we wouldn't suggest going with anything but a full cPanel box either.
